  • Is DARRICK the Reincarnation of Saint Paul?!

On May 30, 2007, Brother Mounir Murad published in his blog a poignant address commemorating the 98th Birthday of Doctor Dahesh. One particular passage caught our attention and we would like to share it with you:

"We can look at history for lessons and realize that the twelve Disciples of Christ, who were closest to him, did not spread Christianity, but rather it was an outsider named Saul (St. Paul), a persecutor of Christians, who saw the “light” and delivered Christianity to the world.

Likewise, the Spirit may select a total stranger to us in order to proclaim Daheshism to the world. Did the hard work and suffering of Dahesh go to waste by having his closest disciples procrastinate the proclamation of Daheshism? No, absolutely not. It is my understanding that through a Spiritual Message that I have seen with my own eyes that Daheshism will not spread until the “Book of Daheshism” is written and published by an individual who spent years and years with the Beloved Prophet receiving instructions from the Holy Spirit.

This individual is getting old and a lot of work must be finished before he is recalled to the unknown. If for some reason or another, this individual is unable to finish the task, it is not difficult for the Holy Spirit to find a replacement."

OK, that is obviously not the funny part.

Now, remember everything you have read about Darrick Evenson (and let's assume there are others out there like him, hence this is not just about Darrick Evenson per se, but rather about people who fit his profile):

Imagine Darrick Evenson reading this, what do you think HIS conclusion will be, especially that:

    A) Dr. Ghazi Brax (a man who Darrick claims is the chief of the apostles) is his mentor

    B) That it was Brother Mounir Murad who introduced Darrick Evenson to Ghazi Brax in the first place...

To US, Brother Mounir Murad is suggesting that Darrick Evenson MAY be a "Saul Man!"

I read the blog when it was posted. I felt that Mounir's questions were legitimate and realistic questions. I did not think that he was specifically referring to any individual.

I have been tracking other postings under other identities that Darrick has been making. He is still continuing to study Dr Dahesh very closely. At his web site he has cleaned it up a lot. But he is still publishing statements that are beyond any claims that I have been able to verify through any other Daheshist information source.

Over the last two years, he has spent a lot of time testing his knowledge in arenas from the US to the Middle East. I can't believe some the the rediculous claims he has made as though he discovered Dr Dahesh himself.

Darrick has a history of being deceptive and persausive. I think it would be foolish to punish anyone or to hold them up for examination for being taken in by him. To Darrick, the game is more important than the objective. To Darrick, I believe, the potential for power is more important than the benefit of Dr Dahesh's teachings.

FYI the blog IS accessible through www.daheshism.com whose link is still available through our core site Dahesh.org.

Whereas, for some reason, we noticed that the link to OUR core site (Dahesh.org) was removed from Daheshim.com's links page.

          Also...

We noticed that Darrick's websites also no longer feature either Dahesh.org or Daheshville.com...

Are we here to compete with other faiths?

Brother Mounir Murad also wrote in that same essay:

"Over 23 years ago, he departed from this world leaving us the responsibility to promote Daheshism—a task that we accept with honor and pride, yet at times seems to be an impossible task. How could we talk to a heavily mechanized and materialistic world about spirituality without being labeled as irrational? How do we present Daheshism to the world? How do we compete with other faiths? The truth of the matter it is not our skills that would lead people to accept Daheshism, rather, they already posses the right “Sayyalat” (Spiritual Fluids) that will lead them to acceptance. All we need to do is our part and the rest lies in the hands of the Divine."

Well, the last half of this is correct. It truly is up to the individual's personal spiritual fluids as to a person's true spiritual beliefs. The first half of this statement really needs to be disected as to the wording and the content:

              1) "To promote Daheshism": We do NOT promote Daheshism... We do not promote anything! We simple talk about the facts and experiences as we know them about Dr. Dahesh. If no one listens, well then, no one listens. All we can do is talk. Daheshism does not need any of us. The body of knowledge, that which is Daheshism, exists with us, and it exists without us. Basically we are irrelevant to its existence. Daheshism exists. Now if people come along, as many have, we all rejoice in their individual quest and journey. If they don't come along, then so be it, we still stand here talking. We can only do our part to talk. Talk openly, talk fairly, talk truthfully and talk respectfully.

              2) "To compete with other faiths": Daheshism does not compete with other faiths! Daheshism is a continuance in the story of all spiritualities. The essences of Buddism, of Christianity, of Islam, of Judaism, of Taoism, ... are all the same. I am talking here of the essences... of one God only, of love and decency and respect for all living things, etc.... these are all the same. These core fundamentals are Daheshism. A Muslim or a Christian that TRULY understands the essence of their religion... they are Daheshists! They may not know of Daheshism or not acknowledge themselves as such... but if they are true to their personal journey asking questions, delving deep in to their psyche and on the continual search for meaning and the next level of answers within their own faith... they may well find and see the Daheshist's principles to be a natural extension of what they already hold so dear.
