It is no secret that Doctor Dahesh wrote strong words about WOMAN in his book "Kalimaat" ("Words") Yet, he willed his heritage (museum, manuscripts, and library) to a DAHESHIST WOMAN and her children. He also relied solely on Mrs. Marie Haddad, perhaps the greatest defendor of Dahesh and Daheshism during his perscection at the hand of Bechara El Khoury, the first president of Lebanon (See "Innocent in Chains, the Notes). In this forum we will discuss the role of WOMAN in Daheshism because we feel that it is vital for MAN and WOMAN to be equal partners in the evolution of our Daheshist faith.

So far, Daheshists have not yet created a legal entity that brings them all together under the banner of their faith. Will Daheshism ever evolve into an organized religion?

In a perfect world, do you see yourself as a "religious" person, or as a "spiritual" person? Is there a difference?

If TRUTH is absolute then we should all think the same way, listen to the same type of music, and not dare engage in debate, hence democracy would no longer exist.
