    Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Please compare these version of the WIKIPEDIA page about Doctor Dahesh:

    December 29, 2009 version: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=334318645

Then... suddenly, this version dated March 11, 2010 edited by "someone" with a familiar "track record" and "signature" (we know who and where his is... ) currently operating out of Portland Oregon.

Note that this "someone" has also removed the Daheshville.com link (which, incidentally, WE did not place in the first place).

So, I took the liberty of restoring the content to its Dec. 2009 state version and I added the link to Daheshism.com.

Here is the current (as of tonight) version. You can click on "History" to see who did what and when...

    Regards,

    The Consummate Detective and Guardian

Mario, I really appreciate your contributions. I wonder, is our friend out their watching now? I see signs that someone is accessing Daheshville, but I am never sure who. But I suspect you know.

I am troubled that few people make entries on Daheshville. Or at least that don't see more under "new posts". There so much that could be discussed and so little discussion.

Thank you, and I really appreciate your kind words.

As for "our friend" and the rest... I am no longer worried about it because in the final analysis, Daheshville served the bigger purpose. I do admit I miss the old days when many discussions were taking place.

Then again, I think we said it all... What might be a good thing to do would be the following:

Isolate certain discussions on Daheshville and create a menu of subjects on Dahesh.org (if you check the Daheshism link in Dahesh.org, you'll see a small list already started). If we can expand on that, that would be great.

          Let me rephrase...

You and I could certainly discuss at length any issue you wish, whether in private or on the forum. But don't expect "them" to join in.

And ideally, we would have a ton of discussions. But do you expect?

Here, let me give you an example:

One of our board of directors member was sitting at their desk, working away, and minding their own business. The owner of the company introduces them to a new client who — guess what — happens to be a Daheshist.

The owner then mentions Daheshville to the client.

I won't even repeat what came out that "Daheshist's" mouth.

And you know why that is, don't you?

That doesn't mean we are shutting our doors.

On the contrary, if people want to chat, to speak, to bear witness (God FORBID!) they are more than welcome.

But, as I have noticed over the years, and especially where the younger Daheshists are concerned, the expectation was that this would be a cakewalk.

          Well it isn't.

And that is why, I think, and as far as "they" are concerned, we've said it all — mainly because I am beginning to feel the urge to seriously deem the situation irreparable.

On the plus side, we've caused one (other) prominent Daheshist to (finally) start publishing his testimonies and experiences — on the web and in English.

If anything, and if you read what he is saying, or what his brother is saying (in French), it challenges what those with "Spiritual Credentials" are saying.

Hey, I am not taking sides. I'm just saying it's good to have variety.
          And more will come!

            My View Summarized

I believed what I believe before having read the views of Dr Dahesh. But I was unable to label them. I carried great doubt in my mind because my views didn't coincide with "Christian Church View". First, I had come to feel strongly about reincarnation. To me reincarnation was the missing link in organized Christian beliefs. For me it was more logical than everyone trying to get into Heaven on one life time. It provides a vehicle for redemption, enlightenment, evolution, hope, perfection...... I believed in reincarnation. I believed in fairness, justice, equality, humanity, and undying love for all, for everyone.

I think Dr Dahesh believed in these same things. This was manifest in His love of God , the source of all that has meaning and His love for people, places and art. After studying Dr Dahesh I was, I am able to strengthen my resolve, my courage and my faith. I feel motivated to work towards meaningful wisdom that I can share with anyone inclined to allow me to do so.

There was a time when I hated crowded spaces. I was forever fearful and insecure. I despised those who did not share my view. But now I move through those same spaces with confidence and without fear. I have lost feelings of resentment and see many things with new optimism. I see differences in others as things of beauty to be admired. I find beauty and hope everywhere. Instead of seeing different views as a threat, I find them intriguing.

This past weekend, I walked through a sea of people in Washington DC at the annual Cherry Blossom festival. I think every nationality and ethic group in the world was there. There were people of all ages, sizes, complexions and language groups. The diversity was staggering. After hours of mingling with people flying kites, people photographing their families and friends, people photographing the cherry blossoms, the Tidal basin and monuments I felt energized to an extreme. There was a time when I would have felt drained by this experience. Instead of losing energy to the crowd, I absorbed energy from the mass of humanity that surrounded me. Because of the large number of Asian people in the sea of humanity, I found myself thinking what it would like to visit the Orient to see and feel the land that they had come from. I thought of visiting the Middle East despite the dangerous things that some Westerners have experienced there. I thought of visiting Europe, Mexico and all the places where these people had originated. As an American, I was flattered that these people would travel so far and at such expense, to come to our country to see 3000 trees in bloom.

In summary, I feel that knowing of Dr Dahesh has changed my life. I didn't need to see an obvious miracle to appreciate his message. It was, is, a message of hope. For me, whether the rest of the world develops an appreciation for Dr Dahesh, is unimportant. Oh it would be great if they did. But I can only think how fortunate I am, to have discovered him.

              Hello Mario,

I would be very interested in reading this. Would it be possible to know the links ?

PS. I would certainly understand if you do not want to advertise other sites on Daheshville (even if they are "on the plus side"). In this case, feel free to send me the links by private message. Thanks a lot

                Hello Ziyad,

We actually posted the link (the portal) on Dahesh.org (and on Wikepidia as well). Please direct your browser to http://www.Dahesh.org. Once there, look for the Navigational Bar on the Right where you'll see DAHESH LINKS. Click on that and there you see that Jeune Levrier link. Once there, click on a minuscule link in English — all the way at the bottom. Once in there, ... you'll have a few of things to sift through.
