Hello dear brothers, Hope all of you are fine.

Before the war has started in Lebanon on the July 12.2006, I have mentioned during the war time on “daheshville.com”, that I have already seen a dream, and I mentioned that the Beloved Guiding Prophet asked me in that dream to repeat after him this sentence “In the name of God, and the name of the Beloved Guiding Prophet, and the six personality, and the twentieth Sayyal, An abeeta fee beity aminan. That I stay safe in my home”. And he repeated that many times, and so I.

And during the war time, that dream never gone out of my mind , and really I have been feeling that nothing bad are going to be with us. And all of that time, I have been waiting the war to be finished and to see “what is going to be? “. And in my mind “if the spiritual assistance happened, I’ll speak about that.

Last month, and after the war has over in Lebanon, I have gone back to visit my family and to check “what happened?”.

Thanks God and our Beloved Guiding Prophet, My family all of them are fine, my house is completely well, and the surprised is my company, all of the building closed to us are completely destroyed, and the rest are damaged, just the building which my company is located in, is completely well and no damages at all except two pieces of glass are broken. Especially when you know that there are some offices for Hezbollah in the same building.

Again thanks God and our Beloved Guiding Prophet for their spiritual assistance.”At least I believe in that”.

Thank you so much for sharing with us the wonderful news.

I know I am not a Daheshist priest, nor is it my place perhaps to ask such things, but this is absolutely humbling and I invite all able Daheshists to "burn a symbol" as a show of gratitude. When a true brother or sister hurts, we all hurt. When he or she is blessed, we can, should we have the will and the power to accept, all be blessed.

Thank you for sharing with us the dream you had. I commend your courage for all that you and those close to you must have had to endure and go through... What a blessing to have such a dream come to you during what must have been such dark and difficult times. I was very moved to read your post here in the Daheshville Prayer Hall... Thank you.

Strange dream

I dreamt that Saddam Hussein will not be hanged but he will rule over syria with a fierce hand.

Then again...

...and I am not just saying that because we like Sonic (even though we tease him quite a bit) : Who knows... maybe someday, Syria will have a ruler who might have one (or more than one) spiritual fluid of Saddam Hussein. But only a prophet would then be capable of confirming that. The whole point of this exercise is to train our mind to be highly vigil when it comes to seeing dreams. Sometimes, we dream something and the result is the opposite. Sometimes, the result is right on the mark. The whole point here is to realize that — yes — some humans (and due to the mind-boggling complexity of the "Cosmic IT System") are (by Divine will) may be granted with an opportunity to have such experiences. For example, in my case, I once dreamed that someone I knew had a ceiling water leak in their office and their work was completely drenched. Lo and behold, that exact thing happened. The person in the office above had a leak, and photo chemicals seeped through the floor and all the drafting tables and file cabinets were soaked. And, if anyone knows the Brother "A. Y." in Canada, they should ask him the following : "Did you once call Mario (circa 1988) who was on the phone and used 'call waiting' to speak with you and before you had a chance to say anything, he kind of yelled at you saying: 'listen, if you are calling to discuss this business of your working without a permit, then you know where I stand on this issue! I had a dream in which you were trying to convince me that you should do it and I was upset with you!' to which you replied to Mario 'Man, is there NO hiding from you?!"

Or how about when I dreamed that I was telling one of the Trustees I could no longer accept him drinking and driving and that unfortunately I could no longer be his friend if he insisted on doing that... and soon after, his mother calls me, crying, telling me that he was jailed for DUI...

These dreams mean something—to one extent or the other... What? God knows. And if do prove anything — in my opinion — it is this:

There is an COSMIC IT NETWORK. Except that we can't really control it or be sure we can decipher its messages. Hence, better stay a little bit mistrusting of one's own "Visions" until we see proof positive that, in fact, it was some sort of revelation we were allowed to see.

Here is a classic: There is one Daheshist who once Dreamed the Doctor telling him "Why don't you go and work with Joseph?" (Joseph is my brother, by the way). Well, let's see... That Daheshist—as far as I know tried everything (including showering me with what he considers to be great acts of charity and benevolence — according to a letter he circulated...— and despite all his attempts, he was not able to convince my brother Joseph to work with him. And, last I heard, and sometime in 2007, Joseph actually hung up the phone on him...

But, who knows... Now that Joseph has accused David of stealing money from him in a book published by my brother Georges and edited by my brother Chucri... maybe... these two will team up...

But let us say they don't and this never happens. Was the dream bogus?

Not necessarily. Sometimes things are a function of our intentions. And let me give you an example:

In my case, I was responsible for putting this Daheshist brother with a Daheshist Sister. It was either that or let him marry someone from Chinese he met over the internet (long story! And let me assure you, anyone who know his past history with people he met on the internet—and cared for him—would have stopped him as well.) . Meanwhile, I considered him a decent fellow (after all — and see above— he was so "Charitable towards me").

So, I ALLOWED him to get near that Daheshist woman with ONE condition: that he does not speed matters up (for reasons I will go into eventually).

The minute he got hold of her (and I don't know what he told her) he and her were... ENGAGED to be Married. And, in fact, they ended up "involved" before they got Married (at least in the Daheshist way).

OK, so now those "Love birds" (who, by virtue of their being SO MUCH in a hurry, have created HAVOC in the family) are getting ready to visit Doctor Ghazi Brax.

Dr. Ghazi Brax calls the Brother and tells him (and I Paraphrase) "I saw a dream in which the Doctor told me that both of you cannot come and see me BEFORE you get MARRIED (according to the Daheshist ritual)" then Dr. Brax adds that (in the dream) the Doctor made it clear that these two were meant to be together (and can someone please tell us WHO was the one who PUT them together?) and that both of them needed to atone for their past sins.

Now, we get to the problem: a sequence of events occurred that would eventually lead to that Daheshist BREAKING IT OFF with the woman (via email) and (of course) blaming all his troubles on me. Oh, and, shipping all her belongings to my house, via UPS. Thank you, I got them by the way...

Whether our poor tortured soul is correct (that it was all my doing) or not, this proves that WE REAP WHAT WE SOW and that even the full realization of a PROPHETIC dream is CONTINGENT upon our behavior.

See, now, he would tell you "No one has hurt me as much as Mario has" (Which is — and assuming it is true — a great honor, since I always strive for excellence in ever thing I do).

But my version would be this:

When you try to punish the woman's sister for not accepting your hand in Marriage in 1995, and subsequently punish the man she ended up marrying years later, and INSISTING on maintaining a "friendship" with an American Woman to whom you fell in love with and to whom you proposed MARRIAGE (even though you, yourself, claim that the Doctor specifically told you that it was best to marry an Syriac woman than an American one) and EVEN THOUGH the Daheshist Woman to whom you were NOW engaged wanted to nearly kill herself over the fact you were maintaining this friendship, and finally begged the man who eventually married her sister—the woman you wanted in 1995—to talk sense into you (which evidently did not sit well with you, so you HAD to get rid of HIM and SOON)... when you DO all that... FUNNY STUFF HAPPENS! If you know what I mean...
