  • Doctor Dahesh's Vision of July 10, 1944

On page 12 of the original first edition (in Arabic) of "Strange Tales and Wondrous Legends" we find a detailed account of a vision that Doctor Dahesh had — while asleep — on the morning of July 10, 1944, in Beirut.

According to the book, the vision was published in the "Al Bayaan" magazine on December 4, 1948.

In his own words, the editor-in-chief of the magazine wrote that "it is not up to us to argue the events in this story, may it be truth or fiction, for if we publish it merely because it contains the elements of a good story."

Well, it does. And, it certainly fill-in a lot of loose ends left behind in "Innocent in Chains, The Notes" (Mario Henri Chakkour's own notes taken while reading the manuscript of "Innocent in Chains"— Doctor Dahesh's own account of the crime committed by President Bechara El Khoury)

    So, please stay tuned!
