  • Extra Terrestrial and Terrestrial Influences

I first posted this article on 5 May 2010. But I've found additional information and I thought it would be interesting enough re-post the original information and add to it. I've done this for purposes of clarification also.

In the age we live in, there is much discussion about things like Global Warming, Renewable Energy, the Impact of The Gulf Oil Spill at The BP Facility. All these things are important and we should all be concerned. Our planet is more fragile then most people would think. Whether in the case of Global Warming, where gradual accumulations of heat and CO2 could drastically impact our global weather and quality of life or the Oil Spill currently happening in the Gulf of Mexico that will damage the environment for an undetermined duration, the impact can be/is huge.

But periodically a natural event occurs that drastically alters the weather and/or quality of life. The volcano in Iceland certainly will alter the weather in the northern hemisphere, although the degree is difficult to predict.

Today, an article in "science Daily caught my attention. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0521191114.htm The title, "Ribbon at Edge of Our Solar System: Will the Sun Enter a Million-Degree Cloud of Interstellar Gas?" really caught my attention. The term "million degree cloud" raised my anxiety level many, many times the norm. Upon further reading, I thought I understood the article to say that although a particle may be at some ultra heated range, these particles would be spread so thin that the impact would be less than catastrophic.

The concept is, that clouds of matter and energy are floating in the Universe and at some time, our sun with solar system in tow can glide through it. I think I am imaginative and as such I can conceive of the scenario described with variations.

For as long as people have studied weather, people have theorized about the cause of ice ages. Suppose that a cloud of ionized particles collided with our solar system. And suppose the particles interfered with heat radiating from the sun to all the planets. Then, poof, the Earth is plunged into an ice age.

The interesting thing about the scenario described, the time frame before impact could be relatively brief. The scenario states that the sun could be engulfed as early as the next century.

I'm not rooting for disaster. But it is of interest to me, how fragile our earth may be. Despite our most optimistic dreams, this planet could become toast or an ice cube in a relative blink of the eye.

    Continuation

Some have become very smug in pronouncing information that gives them great pride. But we know so very little about so many things. Compared to cave men we are like gods. But compared to God we are like cavemen.

Recently, August 1st to be exact, a solar storm erupted flinging solar radiation at Earth. The web site: http://www.spaceweather.com/ give you access to this and other postings. Although as far back as 2006, a few astrophysicists had predicted the coming of a peak in solar activity (anywhere from 2010 to 2012), no one was willing to bet their job on the precise day. It was a bit like saying it is going to rain, but not giving the time. Certainly, if we wait long enough, it will rain. Our prognosticators did say that this cycle would be less powerful than the last in 1958. My point is that we don't know either the time or the magnitude.

Some predict gloom and doom about the impact of CO2. Now please don't assume I am going minimize our need to be concerned about emissions. We need to be seriously concerned about protecting the planet on which we live. But our focus should not become myopic because we have a single concern staring us in the face.

Now here is more about the original post: http://science.nasa.gov/science-news...23dec_voyager/ . This article provides some additional information and perspective. One of the things I found interesting about this article is a single statement: "Additional compression could allow more cosmic rays to reach the inner solar system, possibly affecting terrestrial climate and the ability of astronauts to travel safely through space". For me the question becomes, what will be the impact on terrestrial weather. Originally when I read the first article, I thought that the temperature of the extra-stellar gas cloud would impact our weather. But that was not the concern listed. The concern was that the pressure of this cloud would affect cosmic radiation.

Here is a link to a brief explanation on cosmic radiation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_ray. When I think of severe weather, I always think of the ice ages. I think that most would agree, they are severe. This link is about the history and the speculation regarding ice ages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_age. And this one: http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.co...s/Ice_Age.html. Of course, there could be opposite extremes. And of course they could be less severe, but still significant changes in climate, but due not from things restricted to terrestrial activity. Yes, not extra-terrestrial, but extra-stellar.

Now that I have provided you some scary information, consider this. Say your prayers before you go to bed tonight. Because things really can get worse.

Let's ponder this for a minute: if what we (humans) perceive is an illusion, then, perhaps extra-terrestrial and extra-stellar are interchangeable. My point being this: if a lofty entity can bend time and space, or break the laws of physics as we know them, in the hope that we come to the conclusion that there is something far grander than our perceived reality, then for all we know, our universe as we know it is a creation put together by a sub-contractor to whom we have been assigned.

        Extra Terrestrial or Extra Stellar

You, I believe, are absolutely correct. The angelic personnel working God may be complex and numerous. I don't think I will ever be certain about the exact cause and effect of all the things that have happened in my life. But I have some other sense, other than touch, vision, smell, hearing, and taste, that there is probably a great deal beyond this earth.

But my reference was meant simply to separate reference to forces within the solar system versus forces from outside the solar system. "Our System" is not restricted to the Sun and its' 9 or maybe only 8 planets. Despite the difficulty of measuring forces beyond Earth, they may be influencing us more than we know.

Thanks so much for this very interesting topic.

Despite the logical scientific facts, there are more complex systems than that of earth that is present in a lofty place in the universe.

Lofty creatures, namely angels, are present to monitor planet Earth.
They have a great responsibility in preserving our planet and maintaining its molecular stability.

It's according to our deeds. Storms and earthquakes at many times and even most of the times happen as a punishment to bad deeds, etc...

I just liked to share our Daheshist faith on this very important topic.

How about we reserve judgement on whether something is a punishment until we are given (through revelation) the real, hidden reason behind it.

And being that the era of divine revelations died with the Doctor, how about we consider the possibility that not everything is a punishment. For all we know, it's for our own good. A forest may burn and force people to move to what might turn out to be a better place. Sometimes, from what I was told, it is better for a human to suffer an "act of God" and pass away (as tragic as that may sound) than to remain on Earth, and continuing to lower his or her Spiritual Fluids. My point being is that it's more complex than saying, "this is a punishment."

Hi dear Mario, what you said is true, no doubt. Thanks so much for your very important reply.

In my opinion there is a raging spiritual warfare on our planet. The evil deeds are numerous, God almighty is giving us time in order to repent.

Of course, we cannot say everything is a punishment, but the matter is that the deeds humankind are committing are nearly numerous.

Let's remember what came in Isaiah 55:8 ( "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.)

and in Romans 8:28 (And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.)

Yes, God almighty has a specific purpose behind everything, a spiritual purpose for our good no matter how bitter and harsh it comes on us.

To him is vengeance, not to us. And as it's written in the Bible: It is mine to avenge; I will repay. (Deuteronomy 32:35)

My words are based on Daheshsism and words from heavenly books.

I hope that am not misunderstood regarding this matter.
