    The Letter of Father Noah—Preamble.

What will follow will a loose translation of a document myself and 19 others received on the day Doctor Dahesh's body was put to rest. Each of the 20 people present on that day received a manilla envelope which contained photocopies of selected excerpts, as per the Doctor's own published "will" in one of his books (I don't know what the book was, I only have the actual photocopies, and the piece called "Wasyyati" (My Will) is on page 221. In this piece In that "will" he requests that certain pieces be read, and the sequence in which these pieces are to be read.

    1) the Prayer of the Beloved Guiding Prophet.
    2) Oh Death (Ayouha Al Maout)
    3) When I leave you (3indama Oughadiroukum)
    4) Remember me and forget me not (Ithkourny wa laa tansany)
    5) Come back to me quickly (3ud ileya saree3an)
    6) Join my remains to her remains (Doummou Roufaaty Ila Roufaatiha)
    7) Storm oh winds (A3soufi ya Riah)
    8) Salam

And, in addition to the 8 pieces mentioned above, there was one additional and last piece, called "To Death, my beloved" (Ila Habibi Al Moaut), which is from page 241 (of that "mystery" book) in which he requests that a particular poem be carved on the stones of the grave (we see the poem) then, on the marble (face, I suppose? I can scan the actual document...) he shows which (exact) image (by Morelli, from Repose of Death) is to be carved. It's the famous one showing him on his knees, with the angel of Death to the left, holding him, and we see the raven/crow on the ground.

And, accompanying that carved image, we should also read a nice epitaph... I will paraphrase it...

It says something to the effect of " I am a shadow that no sooner it dives(?) in the valley of life that it disappears. And death is an brilliant (?) awakening sought after by anyone whose spirit has been purified (?) and his soul been elevated. Whereas it is feared by those whose thoughts have become "dense" ? and his "load" great ? "Wa Kathurat Awzaarahou" ... (Also could be translated "his bad deeds have accumulated"?)

Then, the last sentence mentions the following:

"And after my death, other persons will land and they will come right after me, from that magical world to which I will depart."

    Dahesh, Feb. 9, 1945.

(Note the year... if you have been reading "Innocent in Chains: the notes" you might notice —besides the recurring #9— that this was written over a year after his ordeal. And, speaking of which, in the third piece that was recited (we all gathered around the casket, in his study, and took turn reading... I believe I read "Salam") he says (on page 228 of that "mystery" book... was it repose of death?... I would appreciate an update):

"And when you will confirm that I was whipped/tortured (Joulid-too), and slapped, and humiliated and the torturers drove me while throwing at me the lowliest of the insults and they threw me in the depths of a horribly frightful prison... and there they wouldn't even give me anything to quench my intense hunger AND life-threatening thirst ... Then and there remember me my loved ones (Ahibba-i) as YOUR MEMORY WOULD BE MIXED IN MY SOUL... Because I love you so much... I love you so much..."

So, DAHESHISTS, it is VITAL that you READ INNOCENT in CHAINS: THE NOTES (Until the actual book comes out!)... Or Hussein's translation of the Message of Doctor Dahesh to his Lawyer Edward Noon! For HOW else can you "confirm" what he endured than to read about it. We wish we could show you the actual manuscript of Innocent in Chains... but we can't. So, what we are offering you is the next best thing. Please take advantage of this opportunity that is being presented to you.

Now... In ADDITION to all those pieces above, the Letter of Father Noah was added... I don't know why... and I don't know WHEN this spiritual letter was revealed to the Daheshists and WHO those Daheshists were...

From the looks of it, this letter has already BEEN published. In which book, I have no clue. Therefore, I cannot put it in context of Time.

By the way, I've had (in my lifetime) one spiritual letter appear to me. I had initially written a prayer on a sheet of yellow paper, folded it, and tucked it in my wallet (as per the Doctor's instructions). Once I got to the USA, I opened it and everything I had written was gone and replaced by a letter from the spirit of of Brother Ali to me.

Plus, I've been to the Doctor's "file cabinet" (it was famous!) and I was asked to pick from among a few folded pieces of paper, where I read something that amounted to a "recount" of my day before I went to the Doctor's house (that was in Beirut). I had just returned form the US Embassy. Oh... and my brother also made a trip there where he learnt that I was supposed to die during a school outing... (That's a LONG story... I was 14... I believe...)... I shall tell it at some future date (if anyone is interested, that is )

Anyway, this is the PREAMBLE to Father Noah's Letter. I will begin shortly the process of "paraphrasing it" (God willing) and, because of its content... I think I will post it in the Members only section...

See you there soon, I hope!

(For the record, OK, the last THING I ever thought I'd be doing is THIS... No, honestly, there are SO many other MORE qualified Daheshists... and, once again, I use that "title" not because I THINK I am a Daheshist... rather, the DOCTOR referred to me as a Daheshist... So, if some of our esteemed readers have an issue with that, please bring it up next time you see him... No, seriously folks, I know a lot of you used to complain that you had to go through me to contact him... again, take it up with him. Oh, and look at the irony... We meet AGAIN! GOD is the ultimate practical joker!

    Thank you Mario …

This week I've had a dream in which I saw The Doctor reading HIS awful story "Innocent in Chains" rewritten by your own words Mario, and believe me HE was really touched, moved and sad …

I don’t know if we are able to realize what HIS torture must have been … He was left ALL ALONE … ALL ALONE !

Now we can only Remember what HE has suffered and let the world know about it …

So your work is worth it Mario and I hope that all our brothers and sisters will join their hands and souls so that we could be united with the Spirit of our Beloved Prophet …

Thank you Sandrine. I know that it must not have been easy to share such a personal account in a public forum such as this one. And, I want to also point out something about Hussein. He shared with me something very personal in a private email—which I am not at liberty to discuss, lest I put him in a very difficult spot.

History, I am certain, will remember his contribution as a brave act.

It is not easy going AGAINST the flow and doing what you think SHOULD be done when EVERYONE tells you you SHOULDN'T do it.

On December 1, 1955, an African-American woman by the name of Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man ... an act that could have cost her life... in one single act, she changed a nation.

We are all parts of a bigger collective. And the sooner we realize that, the better the Beloved Guiding Prophet will feel. Incidentally, I had a similar dream in the late 1980's (I'll dig up my notes). I also know that he asked two Daheshists to pay special attention to this story... still, nothing has been published...

That is why, I hope everyone agrees, 20 years is just about enough of a grace period. Again, any Daheshist who might have one spec of doubt about whether ANY small act on their part could make a difference should read "Innocent in Chains: The Notes." Imagine you are in the Doctor's shoes...imagine the physical torture, the pain, the hunger, the thirst, the prospect of being left all alone, at night, in the middle of nowhere, far, far away from home, illegally stripped of your citizenship and with no papers... during wartime!

But, most will fear coming forth because they would ostracized.

      SO WHAT?

When I am done showing you Noah's letter, you will understand...

Looking at how old that thread is, I am thinking "where has the time flown?!"

Let me look up the actual document (once) again and (this time) complete the actual transcription in Arabic (and follow that with a translation):

أنا ظل سرعان ما يطوف في وادي الحياة ويتلاشى ...
والموت يقظة فتانة يحن إليها كل من صفت نفسه وسمت روحه . ويخافها من كثفت أفكاره . وكثرت أوزاره ؟ ... وبعد موتي سيهبط أشخاص آخرون يأتون بعدي من ذلك العالم السحري الذي سأنطلق إليه.

          ٩ شباط ١٩٤٥ داهش

Now, the first sentence literally says:

I am a shadow who soon roams in the valley of life and fades away...

However, and in keeping with the meaning, I will interpret it as being:

I am a shadow who fades away no sooner than he roams in the valley of life ...

Hence... (Oh, and that "?" mark is in the original text)

I am a shadow who fades away no sooner than he roams in the valley of life ...And Death is a captivating awakening for whom yearns everyone whose spirit has been purified and whose soul has risen . And feared by anyone whose thoughts have thickened. And whose sins have multiplied?...
And after my death, other persons will land, [and] come after (succeed) me from this magical world to which I will depart.

          February 9, 1945 Dahesh

          Ron:

Now, I will answer the question in the spirit it was asked — in other words, using my "best imagination"...

Here goes: No. And I do not think anyone in this Earth "Cycle" will match those credentials. In other words, Doctor Dahesh is the last Spiritual Fluid from our Lord The Christ. Period.

Now, might there be individuals who have (sub) spiritual fluids linking them to The Christ? Sure — and I don't mean to suggest anything pejorative when I say "sub" I assure you. There will always be people inspired to do certain lofty things, may it be to produce beautiful things, to cure diseases etc.

But that's not what we're talking about here — if I am not mistaken. We're talking about Prophets who can perform miracles ... You know... "The big guns"...

Again — using my "best imagination" — I believe there will be (let's call it) a "rebooting" of the "system." And here, I'll need you to imagine what that might mean... And, perhaps, thousands of years from now, The Christ will return again (through His Spiritual Fluids).

Thanks Mario! Frequently I get so engrossed in specific words, I can't see the paragraph or the message. I have being reviewing those things which first attracted me to "The Persona", "The Aura", "The Mystic" of Dr Dahesh.

The one single document that impressed me the most was Salim Onbargi's Born Again with Dr. Dahesh. I felt that Salim was honest, sincere, and straight forward. I did not feel that he embellished his writing beyond what was logical. Yet he was obviously affected by what he witnessed to the extent that his life was deeply changed.

I noticed in the testimonials listed by Mounir, he listed one by Salim. In that testimonial Mounir stated in the first sentence, "This testimonial is taken from a book published by Salim Onbargi titled Essays Inspired by Daheshist Teachings, 2004". If this is true, it would appear that a second book exists. We already discussed Salim's death. You said it happened three to five years ago. I just talked to Heritage Books. They say they have a copy and will send me one for a modest sum.

I'll let you know if this book is as inspirational as his first.

I support what Ron Said as well about Salim Onbargi's book “Born Again with Dr. Dahesh”, I felt exactly the same about the honesty of the it is written in every story like when his car was stuck in snow etc…
Having said that, I guess in that book Salim wrote similar to Dr. Dahesh style in the books series about his travels which is a very big series indicating almost all Dr. Dahesh travels around the world.

I cried when I read this. Yeah, it doesn't say Dr. Dahesh (or the spiritual fluid of Jesus) is coming right back, but "other persons...from that magical world". Thus, others who will serve as spiritual guides, I reckon. Will they be born into the world a one of us or come directly as a physical being (or spiritual, like the Holy Ghost) from another world?

"other persons will land" If we understood the accurate definition of "land" as used in this passage, we might comprehend this better.

Letter of Father Noah (Arabic version)

This message concerns all the Daheshville "Members of the House."

We're currently transcribing the Letter of Father Noah in Arabic. As usual, and because we do not have an easy way to directly type in Arabic, this work-in-progress is going to take time. A first paragraph has already been deposited in that special forum.

While we recognize that the members who are not Arabic-speaking will not be able to have direct access to the knowledge offered in this Spiritually Revealed letter, we're making it (nevertheless) available to those members who are in fact fluent in Arabic. That way, they will have the original and will no longer have to rely on translations. And, consequently, they can pass the knowledge on to others they deem worthy or receiving it.

We will — in due time — revisit the issue of translating it into English. However, there are still many documents (written by Doctor Dahesh himself) that need transcribing.

We've heard (and read) many young Daheshists ask us "What can we do to help?"

The answer (we think) is: "Translate the words of Doctor Dahesh for they are the source of your Faith."

Again, this is an opinion. We've stated it. The matter is closed.

This is just to let all the Arabic-speaking "Members of the House" that the letter of Father Noah has been updated (original Arabic version, for now). More to follow.

One thing worth noting in that letter is that the Ark did not have a ramp — as we typically see in movies or illustrations.

Also, and it is clear that Noah's wife did not enter the Ark.

We're also given the names of the son's wives.

Lastly, we learn that the animals entered the Ark at night.

                    To be continued...
