  • Artwork That Is Stranger Still

Willard Wigan was born to Jamaican parents and grew up in England. He suffered dyslexia and in the 1960's there was little understanding nor compassion for students with this handicap. Willard's experience with a cruel teacher gave him motivation to excel in an art form that few can do and most can't see without a microscope. He creates art pieces, painted pieces, that can fit in the eye of a needle. His story is too long for me to retell as well as the news article. Read about his strange talent:http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...120204152.html. Be certain to look at the slide show that accompanies the article.
