What's the difference between the "members only" area that I can't hack into and the area I access as a "junior member?"

    1) "Members Only" requires less space and is more evocative than "Registered Users Only" (yet not as smothering as "Citizens Only")

    2) In some cases, the term "Members" is all inclusive, just as "Citizen" or "Man"

In a mutliplex theatre, a young boy is not allowed to see an R-rated movie without a parent or guardian. He's not a "MAN" yet... only a "Junior MAN"

Now, the same "Junior MAN" has to use the bathroom. He's looking at two doors. One says (or implies) "MEN" and the other "WOMEN"

Common sense tells him to enter through the door where only "MEN" are allowed.

There are "Senior Citizens," "Naturalized Citizens" and "Native Citizens"... But, in the big scheme of things, they are all "Citizens" or "Members" in our case.

Therefore, the qualifier that preceeds the word "Members" is silent.
And even though we're not saying actually saying "Senior, Junior, and plain ol' Members Only" we are.

    3) It's a great little exercise in holistic thinking
