        A Tragedy

The brutality of oppression is a terrible thing. Another case of self interest gone amok. Fear has driven the people in power (not just Mubarack) to resort to using the most brutal methods. But Obama, with his public statements, I feel has exasperated the situation. Behind the scene, I can only hope his administration is exerting the appropriate pressure. But in public, there is a very fine line that needs to be maintained to ensure not to inflame either end. The protesters have used extraordinary intelligence and restraint in stating their case. They are to be admired and complimented. And may God have mercy on the victims and their families.

Although a strong voice has been heard the person most responsible for starting this protest is suffering emotionally because of the violence: http://www.france24.com/en/20110209-...ternet-mubarak .
