  • Timing of the Daheshist Symbol

    Hello all,

I have a question concerning the time we write on the Daheshist symbol:

1- Is it the time of when we started the whole process ? i.e. we look at the clock when we place the blank yellow paper in front of us and use that time.

2- Is it the actual time when we have reached the part of writing the time before folding the prayer ? (In this case 6 am and 6 pm sharp will never be achieved as it takes more than a minute to fill all the parts of the prayer before reaching the time part)

    A side question too:

Can you have a symbol written (with say 6 pm time on it) and folded and kept with you, then when it is 6 pm you get it out and burn it directly ?

    Thank you brothers/sisters.

Here is what you do: say you begin to write your Symbol at 6 pm precisely (again, as an example, because you have 2 six-hour windows every day: between 6 am and noon, and 6 pm and midnight) ... OK, so let's say you sit and begin the process of writing your prayer at 6 pm... At one point, you will begin to write "Al saa3at..." here, stop, look at your watch, note the time, write the time down, and enclose that last sentence inside the oval, and do the rest (last rotation, folding and so on).

So, if by the time you get to "Al Saa3at" it is 6:05, then your time is 6:05 (morning, or evening, etc.)

    The short answer is no.

Remember, you don't have to begin writing it at 6. Or, start it at 5:55 in the hope of finishing it at 6. Again, you have a 6-hour window. We don't know why this is so. But there's definitely a spiritual reason behind it
